About Dr. Bennett

Dr Bennett is an anesthesiologist at a large private referral hospital just north of Chicago, IL. She did her undergrad and vet school training at Purdue University, West Lafayette Indiana, a rotating small animal internship at Washington State University, and her anesthesia residency at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She has been a board-certified Veterinary Anesthesiologist since 2019.

Personal Life
When I'm not working, I love to exercise - I completed my first Chicago Marathon in 2024, and I will be running my second in 2026. I am an avid “Swiftie”, adding Taylor Swift references in almost every presentation I create. I also enjoy reading, baking, and taking my dog to agility class. I have a 6yo Australian Shepherd and an (approximately) 11yo Chihuahua.
